After a couple years of promises and teaser video, we’ve finally got an official arrival date for the Harley-Davidson Pan America adventure bike. After a preview on January 19, Harley-Davidson says it will reveal the bike’s full specs on February 22.
The January 19 event is basically the same idea that the other manufacturers did this fall. Instead of an in-person launch, the OEMs are all moving their releases online.
The January date is a bit unusual for Harley-Davidson, as the MoCo usually releases its new models in August, around the Sturgis rally, or at Daytona Bike Week. That February 22 date for the Pan America’s full release would likely match up with the Daytona event, though, if that’s still on for 2021.
What can we expect from the Pan America? It seems Harley-Davidson is at least marketing this as a legitimate effort at building a proper adventure bike. From the very start, the promo footage has shown the bike being flogged about off-road. More details on H-D’s launch plans in the presser below:

“Harley-Davidson has unlocked opportunities for me to find adventure with amazing people, awe-inspiring places, and expand my inspiration seen in the United We Will Ride content series,” said Momoa. “I was excited to collaborate with Harley-Davidson for a first look and chance to ride the Pan America 1250 motorcycle.
