Indian officially launches Scout Bobber Sixty

The Indian Scout Bobber Sixty is here—a lighter version of the Scout Bobber, and with a smaller engine. And, a smaller price tag.

We saw our first peek at the machine about a month ago, and Indian’s introduced it just in time for Daytona Bike Week. Just as predicted, it’s got a 999 cc version of the Scout’s V-twin engine.

Selling for $10,999 in its most stripped-down form (no ABS, Vivid Black paint), the Scout Bobber Sixty is for bike buyers on a budget. Sort of. That’s still an expensive motorcycle for many riders, but it’s a fairly affordable machine for Indian.

Add ABS, and you’re spending $11,799 for the Thunder Black paint, or $12,299 for Thunder Black Smoke. More details at Indian’s website, or in the press release below (figures are in US dollars in the presser).

  1. I must say this one looks promising. I’ve also read another writeup on a modified bike. It is also made in India. I’ve noticed quite a few awesome bike enthusiasts are based in the country. They made a bobber with 2 500cc engine mashed together to create a powerful V-twin engine parts.

  2. $10,999 plus, plus, plus,……. oh yeah there’s charge for that as well…..plus, plus…. oh my! look at that number.
