Here we go again! The 2020 Dakar Rally begins Sunday in Saudi Arabia, with a much-revised look this year.
Obviously, the change in location is the biggest difference, as the race will now run in Saudi Arabia. There’s a new race director (Etienne Lavigne’s out, David Castera is in), and for 2020, the race is still only running in a single country, but it’s longer than last year’s race at least.
The 13,000-km race will run January 5-17, with one rest day this year. As always, the KTM factory team is going in as the favourites, with the three male riders (returning champ Toby Price, as well as Matthias Walkner and Sam Sunderland) all being previous Dakar winners. Laia Sanz is back as well, and she’s dominated the female category for KTM for years, but has switched to GasGas this year.

What’s the best way to watch the racing? I watch out takes on the official site and Redbull tv has some coverage but where else can I see it. There are many journalists and videographers at the race so where does all the best footage end up?
