Recall #: 2019593
Models Involved: 2019-2020 Harley-Davidson CVO Tri Glide, Tri Glide Ultra, Trike Freewheeler
Number of Vehicles: 740
Problem: On certain trikes (three-wheeled motorcycles), a software error in the traction control system could cause one of the rear brakes to activate suddenly. As a result, the motorcycle could change direction suddenly.
Corrective Actions: Harley-Davidson will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to update the software for the electro-hydraulic control unit (EHCU). If you choose to ride your motorcycle before this recall is completed, Harley-Davidson recommends that you disable the traction control system (TC) before each ride.
