Get-together in Oshawa will remember Steve Bond

As we told you last week, Steve Bond, one of the longest-serving CMG writers and a regular contributor in the days of the Soapbox forum, has died. Bondo had plenty of fans and friends in the motorcycle world, and later this month, there’ll be a get-together to remember him.

In case you haven’t already seen the announcement in the comments section, Ken Livingstone is putting together a gathering in Oshawa. As the comment says:

There you have it. The Portly Piper is at the corner of Wilson Street and King Street, if you navigate the old-school way.

  1. was it Steve that wrote a story for CMG about crashing his Honda Hawk at a VRRA event and getting cut out of his leathers? I can’t seem to find it…

    • I think it was on the SR500 but seems familiar. Bring your memories, Bondo memorabilia, Leathers and Leaf’s stuff next Sunday.
