Suzuki continues to plug away at updating the Hayabusa design, with another updated technical drawing recently surfacing showing new changes.
BikeSocial has unveiled this drawing of a new proposed gear change sensor system that shows some other interesting tidbits. The semi-auto gearbox we saw on another Hayabusa patent isn’t included here, the frame is revised, and so is the engine’s top end.
However, this stuff is all just patent drawings for now (filed in February, published this week in Japan). It’s no guarantee of anything coming to production, and in recent years, Suzuki has even introduced a few interesting motorcycles in prototype form at shows, only to pull back from actually building them. The idea of a new ‘Busa sounds exciting, and has been floating around for years now, but don’t get too excited yet.
