Problem: Issue: On certain motorcycles with a H-D Detachables Tour-Pak luggage conversion kit, the rear reflectors may be missing. Canadian regulations require motorcycles to have rear reflectors. A motorcycle that does not have rear reflectors may be less visible to others and could increase the risk of a crash.
Correction:Â Harley-Davidson will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to install reflectors as necessary.
I believe that also happened with the early Yamaha FJR1300s.
It happens a lot. I spent 2 days in one distributor’s warehouse opening up crates, putting on reflectors, tossing in a bag of bilingual warning stickers and an owners manual.
