MV Agusta Dragster RC Shining Gold: Now, with more bling!

MV Agusta continues to recycle old tech with new bodywork, with the announcement of the new Dragster RC Shining Gold edition.

At its core, the new machine appears to be mechanically pretty much the same as the standard Dragster model: a three-cylinder, 800-class engine in a naked bike chassis, with single-sided swingarm, distinctive three-barrel exhaust, and trellis frame.

However, as MV Agusta is wont to do, the bike has received an extra-heavy coating of bling, with gold paint and aluminum and carbon-fibre accents to assure onlookers that yes, the rider did have to lay down a lot of money to purchase this machine. The exhaust is a SC Project Reparto Corse unit, too.

No word yet on costs, not even in the Euro market, where this bike is sure to appear. Chances of it ever coming to Canada are slim, as MV Agusta doesn’t appear to be doing much in our market these days. Maybe Justin Bieber will buy one and bring it into the country? It does seem to match up to his history of motorcycle purchases.
