SRC Moto launches accessory line for Royal Enfield Himalayan

Want to rig up your Royal Enfield Himalayan for more aggressive off-road riding? SRC Moto can help.

As Royal Enfield continues to grab an ever-larger chunk of global motorcycle sales, aftermarket manufacturers are realizing there’s opportunity to sell parts to hop up these bikes. Twenty years ago, the suggestion of an aftermarket for Royal Enfields would have been laughable, but now, we’ve just seen S&S announce a line of performance parts for Royal Enfield’s new 650 twins. Given the Himalayan’s placement in the adventure bike market, it’s no surprise we’re also seeing parts for that bike, as ADV riders are notorious for their insatiable desire to farkle their bikes.

At this point, SRC is selling an oil cooler guard, a headlight guard and a rear brake reservoir guard, a header guard and a rear brake master cylinder guard. All very important stuff to have, if you’ve got a habit of dumping your bike in the tricky stuff.

For now, you can order SRC’s parts through the company’s website, but in the future, SRC is trying to arrange some sort of deal to sell its parts directly through Royal Enfield dealers.

  1. That’s nice to hear. I wondered what happened to SRC (Summers Racing). I had a bunch of their stuff on my old XR650L and it was really well build and high quality.
Scott Summers was one heck of a rider, and could muscle around an XR600 like a champ.

Not many could dead-lift a 290lb dirt bike (as in the linked photo), but even more impressive – there’s not many people who could make an XR600 290 lbs and not have it explode in the first corner.
