Are you female-identifying?* Are you looking to hang out with motorcycle enthusiasts, and the moto-curious? Then hie thee to the the Backroad Ball, running June 21-23! But first, you must register, and that closes tomorrow!
The Backroad Ball is a grassroots female-only motorcycle rally running in New Brunswick; this year, it’s moved to Moncton, where the rally will run on the grounds of the Riverglade motocross track. Previous editions of the rally had cruisery rides into the country, but with the change in venue this year, there’s also a bit more of an emphasis on off-road riding. Not that dirt bikes weren’t a big part of the Ball before, but now they’re going to be even more present.
The other usual stuff is there as well: moto-games, the Hurt Yurt (get inked!), massages, lots of music (the Galpines are playing again), a mechanical bull … head to the Ball’s website for more deets, and to sign up. Time is running out!
*And by that we mean, do you identify as a female, not that you know how to identify females. “Hey look, that’s Paris Hilton! That’s Margaret Thatcher! That’s Marie Curie!”
