Canadian roadracer Jonathan Finn is returning to the Pre-Moto3 championship for 2019, after officially announcing he’s re-signed with his Spanish team.

Finn is back with XCtech in 2017, the same team he rode the 80 cc championship with in 2017, and the Pre-Moto3 series last year. For this season, he’s on a new Pre-Moto3 bike, which is powered by a Yamaha YZ250F engine putting out more than 40 horsepower. He’s already looking at pre-season testing, getting track time in at Valencia this weekend; the racing season starts in earnest on April 14.

Last year, Finn saw enough success he was invited to the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup tryout, so you can bet he’s looking to improve on that this year. We’ll keep an eye on his progress, and let you know how the Saskatchewan boy does this season.
