Problem: On certain motorcycles, the wiring leading to the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) could become corroded and the ECU could receive incorrect signals. This may cause the engine speed not to return to idle when the throttle is released.
Correction: Dealers will install new wiring harness components to bypass the defective wiring connection.
