Welp, here we go again. Yamaha has dropped its 2019 WR450F on the market, with the usual list of upgrades you’d expect of a high-end enduro.
We’re talking upgrades such as: an updated engine (revised intake, exhaust, EFI, ignition maps, reverse cylinder head, updated clutch). A new frame (lighter, more compact for mass centralization, improved skid plate). Upgraded suspension (new springs front and rear). Bigger fuel tank (now 7.9 litres).
And of course, since electronics are the new horsepower, the WR450F can be tuned via the Yamaha Tuner app via onboard wifi, and there’s a switch on the handlebars to choose between two different engine maps.
Alas, the WR450F remains offroad-only in Canada for 2019.
