Rumours of a new 1200 cc Triumph Scrambler have been circulating for a while, and Triumph confirmed that gossip today with a video teaser.
What you see above is what we know: pretty much nothing, beside the fact that Triumph has confirmed the gossip. But, we can make an educated guess that the engine is probably based on the liquid-cooled T120 1200 cc parallel twin that Triumph already uses in several street bikes. Also, the bike is most likely an equivalent to the Ducati Multistrada Enduro—a version that’s intended for heavy-duty work when compared to the more mild-mannered Street Scrambler bike that’s already in the lineup.
The bike will be released on October 24, says the promo, so stay tuned.
I’m still anticipating the first 700lb Adventure bike. I know I its coming.
You can get some pretty light bicycles these days. I’d still have the scrambler.
I was hoping they would do something like this ever since I read about the character of that engine. Can’t wait to see it
