CSBK visits Shubenacadie this weekend

The Canadian Superbike series takes its eastern swing this weekend, with a doubleheader in Nova Scotia.

Tech inspection starts this morning at Shubenacadie’s Atlantic Motorsport Park, with testing starting mid-morning and running for the rest of the day. Practice starts at 9 AM tomorrow and runs until 5 PM; practice, then qualifying, run on Saturday morning; racing starts at 1:20 PM, with CSBK’s Pro Sport Bike race. There’s also a Pro Superbike race Saturday, an Atlantic Roadracing League Sportsman race, and a Lightweight Sport Bike race (Editor Jacob Black’s made the trip east to partake!).

Sunday, there’s practice in the morning, with the Lightweight Sport Bike race at 11:40 AM. Pro Sport Bike opens the afternoon’s racing at 1 PM, followed by Amateur Sport Bike, ARL’s Lightweight Invitational, then Pro Superbike, Amateur Superbike to end it all.

More details at CSBK’s website here.  Currently, Jordan Szoke holds the lead in Pro Superbike standings, Tomas Casas leads Pro Sport Bike, Jake LeClair leads Lightweight Sport Bike and Luc LaBranche leads both the Amateur Superbike and Amateur Sport Bike series.
