Suzuki introduces all-new RM-Z250

Suzuki’s motocrossers  seen much change over the past few years, but it looks like the company is renewing its MX lineup with the introduction of the new RM-Z250.

So far, information on the 2019 quarter-litre MXer is scarce; Suzuki says it’s “all-new,” but judging by the press release, it sounds as if most of the changes are in chassis and suspension (all new frame, swingarm, upgraded front forks and rear shock). The engine has improved throttle response and power output, the traction management system is improved, and so is the holeshot assist system. The exhaust is also changed for 2019.

More details and specs are coming, but for now, you can see a few other bits of information in the press release below.

THE WINNING BALANCE

Suzuki Canada is pleased to announce the all-new 2019 RM-Z250. Suzuki has further evolved the fundamental performance elements of ‘RUN’, ‘TURN’ and ‘STOP’ to instill the 2019 RM-Z250 with the winning balance that will make it a highly successful racer in the years to come.

Achieving a yet higher level of balance between the race-proven performance of its engine and chassis, the 2019 RM-Z250 is ready to dominate the competition. In the case of this new RM-Z, particular attention was focused on advancing its ‘TURN’ capabilities.
