Aprilia Certified Dealer program will build high-spec racebikes

Want to race a highly-tuned RSV4? It’s going to be easier now, thanks to the new Aprilia Racing Certified Dealer program.

Officially launching after World Superbike’s Laguna Seca round next month, the program allows dealership personnel to gain a high level of technical training using information from Aprilia Racing and world championship mechanics. This includes details on engine tuning, suspension and chassis tweaks and other information to help racers and mechanics at the dealership level to set their machines up for optimum performance.

This also ties in with Aprilia’s Factory Works program, which allows buyers to order tuned machines directly from Italy, so they’re already at race-spec at purchase time. See the official press release below.

Press release

In an effort to better support the global dealer network in providing the best technology and service training, for an increasingly demanding Aprilia owner, Piaggio Group has launched the Aprilia Racing Certified Dealer Program.

The technical certification focuses on providing a top tier of technological training, based in findings direct from Aprilia Racing and the world championship team mechanics, in order to fully realize the capability of the Aprilia motor, chassis, suspension systems with relation to rider, circuit, and maintenance intervals.

This program is a direct connection with the Aprilia Racing team in Noale, and further supports the Aprilia Factory Works program, where customers can order race-prepped RSV4 machines, suited to their interests, direct from the race team at the factory.

The program will first launch to the North American market, following globally thereafter, and will take place following the WSBK round at Laguna Seca on Monday, June 25.
