Problem: On certain motorcycles, the engine management software may not maintain a stable engine idle when the throttle is opened and closed quickly, with the clutch disengaged. This could result in the engine stalling.
Correction: Dealers will reprogram the engine management software.
This used to be called “check the points, then check the carb”.
Yeah, like that recent H-D recall for people who don’t flush their brake lines. Apparently we CAN fix stupid, or we’re at least trying.
With all these recalls going on I’m pretty sure the cure for Alzheimers will be found by a major motorcycle manufacturer.
