Aprilia recall

Models Involved: 2016-2017 Aprilia RSV4 1000, 2017 Aprilia V4 Tuono 1100
Number of Vehicles: 484
Problem: On certain motorcycles, a crack within the polyphenilene sulphide (PPS) piston of the front brake master cylinder could occur. This could result in the master cylinder to not be able to generate sufficient hydraulic pressure, which could lead to a loss of braking capability of the front brake.
Correction: Dealers will replace the PPS piston with one made from aluminum.
