Ducati recall

Models Involved: 2015-2018 Ducati 1299, Multistrada S, Multistrada PP, Monster 1200, Panigale R, XDiavel S, Scrambler 800 
Number of Vehicles:

Problem: On certain motorcycles, a crack within the polyphenilene sulphide (PPS) piston of the front brake master cylinder could occur. This could result in the master cylinder to not be able to generate sufficient hydraulic pressure.
Correction: Dealers will replace the PPS piston with one made from aluminum.

  1. Happy New Year! In seeing the recall here for the Brembo brakes, does this not effect the Hypermotards as well? I believe they share the same front braking components as the Monsters. (???)
