Norton is debuting a new version of its revived Commando, dubbed the California.
At this point, we don’t have much information on the Commando 961 California, but it seems to be the same basic machine as the regular 961 Commando Cafe Racer MK II model, with upside-down forks up front, but no flyscreen. There’s also a 2-1 exhaust, instead of the cafe racer’s 2-2. The California also gets ABS.
But, aside from those details, there’s not much to see in Norton’s press release; we’d expect to see more after next week’s EICMA show.
And likely ridiculously overpriced to boot.
Well it obviously has high handlebars.
And it’s fugly.
Which I thought might have been mentioned…
No need, there’s always a CMGer willing to point that out.
It’s a nice bike with stupid handlebars and the white and blue paint scheme.. ugh, that’s fugly.
