New Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster coming

Just as predicted, Triumph is moving its new liquid-cooled parallel twin engines into its cruiser lineup, with a video teasing a new Bonneville Speedmaster on October 3.

The video doesn’t explicitly say which of Triumph’s updated parallel twin engines will power the bike, the T120 (1200 cc) or the T100 (900 cc). It does promise “class leading capability,” so that sounds like it will get the T120.

If the new Speedmaster gets the bigger engine, it would follow Triumph’s pattern of releasing the more exciting machines first, followed the next year by a bike with a smaller engine. That’s the pattern the T100 and T120 Bonnevilles have already taken.
