Asphalt & Rubber has published a link to a California Air Resource Board document that gives details of the upcoming Ducati superbike.
The new Ducati superbike has already had its specs leaked, supposedly, and now we know the bike’s name (Ducati 1299 Panigale R Final Edition). The CARB document also says the bike has a 1285 cc motor, and has the lowest emissions of any of the Panigale 1299 lineup. This is probably important for the bike’s future homologation in markets with restrictive emissions laws. Maybe Ducati is planning to carry this platform forward in some form, even when the new V4 superbike hits the market?
The 1299 Panigale R Final Edition will be officially unveiled next month.
