Last weekend saw the Canadian Motorcycle Drag Racing Association’s season opener in Medicine Hat, Alberta.

Full race results from every class are available at the CMDRA website, but the big winner was Evan Barsness and the Berzerkerz team; Barsness won the Pro Dragster class, beating  out 2016 champ Doug Casson to do so. Barsness pulled off the win with 7.855, 7.832 and 7.853 second times in the elimination rounds.

Calgary’s Greg Westling came back from a mechanical failure in Saturday’s qualifying to win the Super Bike showdown on Sunday.

You can find full results from every class here at the CMDRA site. The next race in the national series is the Summer Nationals, July 8-9 in Rimbey, Alberta. It seems there are no longer any eastern dates on the CMDRA calendar; there are only Alberta and BC race dates listed.
