CMG reader Bob Cram spotted this period-correct (to our eyes) WWII Harley-Davidson at the Newfoundland ferry. Apparently, this fellow is not just a vintage bike fan, he’s also a vintage military enthusiast from BC, and he’s riding this bike across the country this summer.
The word is that, right now, he’s on his way to a vintage motorcycle meet in Paris, Ontario.
If anyone can tell us how to get in touch with him, we’d love to talk to him about his planned ride and get some details on his bike. If someone has contact details, please send us a line at zac@cmgonline.com.
Ron Lacey ! A legend !
His name is Ron Lacey from Surrey BC.
Saw him in Charlottetown PEI last week. Never got his name. Seemed like a decent guy. I got the impression he was trying to keep the trip low key.

Hi I seen this bike and rider going like hell just outside Truro N.S. last Wednesday. Very cool!
