You want to get your motorcycle licence. How do you do it?
The answer depends by province, as road licensing is a provincial responsibility.
There are a few general principles, though. As a general rule, if you’re in Canada, you’ll have to go through some sort of graduated licencing program before you’re trusted with a full endorsement. Almost every province has some sort of motorcycle beginner’s licence, and many require a safety school as well. And most of those beginner’s licences have restrictions on night riding and taking passengers.
Every province requires riders to be covered by a motorcycle insurance policy as well.
