Problem: On certain motorcycles, an incorrect speed sensor cable clamp may allow the clamp to move from its original position when turning/steering. If this happens, the speed sensor cable (lead wire) may bend and break, causing the speedometer to stop displaying vehicle speed.
Correction:Â Dealers will replace the speed sensor cable with a new one of a different design.
