The Mammoth is a motorcycle largely forgotten by history, but for it’s time, it was an absolutely gonzo machine, as Leno is only too happy to tell us. As he puts it: “Every time you get on this thing, you want to invade Poland.” Powered by a four-cylinder air-cooled automobile engine (sourced from NSU), built to order after a hefty (for the 1960s) deposit, this bike had some serious street cred at the time, along with technological advances in subsequent models (plenty more details here). And it looks like a lot of fun to ride, even in 2016.
