The Canadian Motorcycle Drag Racing Association held their final event for the year over the past weekend, and several series were won by new faces.
The Pro Dragster series was undecided before the weekend’s round at Mission Raceway Park, but points leader Doug Casson ended up winning as his competition knocked each other out. It’s his first series win with CMDRA.
In the Super Bike class, 20-year-old Riley Toth took the season championship in his first-ever year of racing with CMDRA. Clayton Potter won Super Street ET, in his third season of racing, and Matt Mackay-Smith was also a first-time champ in the Pro Mod division. Other champions included Jeff Pitre (Stock XL, Super Gas), Mike McBrine (Hot Harley, Street), Carl Mills (V-Pro), and Ethan Barkley (Pro Street). Find more information at the CMDRA website here.
