Dunlop will provide spec tires for the Canadian Superbike series for the next three years, in an extension announced Sunday.
Dunlop has already been supplying tires to CSBK since 2014, through its distributor in Canada, Pro 6. Slicks and DOT-class street tires are for sale at each race through Pro 6. Now, they’ve got the deal until the end of the 2019 season.
This past weekend, Dunlop introduced its super-sticky Qualifying tire at Mosport Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, but there’s no word on whether that tire will be available at each round next year. It is, however, available at all rounds in the US’s MotoAmerica series, where Dunlop is also the spec tire supplier.
Dunlop plans to confirm next year’s tire selection for CSBK riders during this winter’s motorcycle show season.
Really enjoyed the tires again this year but would love it doubly if we could run slicks in sportbike and superbike.
