According to the California Air Resource Board, there are two more variations of the R Nine T coming soon.
Documents recently published by CARB indicate the 2017 BMW lineup contains not only the standard R Nine T and the Scrambler version we already knew about, but also a version called the R Nine T Pure and another version called the R Nine T Racer. Presumably, the second bike is a cafe racer, but the other one remains a mystery.
We reached out to BMW Motorrad Canada for more information, but haven’t heard back yet. Any other information is unlikely until October’s Intermot show, as BMW tends to keep the lid on this sort of thing a little tighter than their Euro competition.
