Canada to get updated Grom

When photos of the updated Honda Grom surfaced in February, we were told it wasn’t coming to Canada, at least not immediately. But fresh on the heels of news that it’s going to be sold in the US, we’ve also found out we’ll get the updated bike in Canada as well.

The updated Honda Grom still has the same old air-cooled motor and other mechanical parts. However, Honda has given it new bodywork, a stacked LED headlight, a GP-style exhaust, and updated tail section that meant the rear subframe had to be slightly redesigned. All in all, the changes aren’t major, but this allows Honda to keep their Grom looking fresh, with a new 125 cc competitor from Kawasaki on the market now.

The updated Grom will be in Canada as a 2017 model, starting in August (only leftover 2015 models are available now, according to Honda’s site). It will be available in red or white. No changes to the $3,399 MSRP have been announced yet.
