Halifax motorcycle show runs this weekend

HALIFAX MOTORCYCLE SHOW

Starting Friday, the Motorcycle & Powersport Atlantic show runs in Halifax, giving the Maritimes their second motorcycle show of the season.

While the majority of Canadian shows are run by the MMIC, this show isn’t, so the lineup is a bit different. The Honda Junior Red Riders program will attend, giving kids a chance to try out dirt bikes. A group of custom motorcycle builders will be doing demos, and the Stunt 902 crew will be showing off their skills as well.

Of course, the show will also have displays from motorcycle and aftermarket manufacturers (the show website says KTM/Husqvarna, Indian/Victory, Harley-Davidson, Honda, BMW, MV Agusta, Yamaha, Ducati, Suzuki, Arctic Cat, and Kawasaki will all be there). There will also be reps from clubs and rallies, along with displays of vintage and race bikes.

The show doors open tomorrow (Friday) at noon, and close at 9 PM. The show is open 9 AM-7PM Saturday and 10 AM-5 PM Sunday. The show is running at the Halifax Exhibition Centre. Admission is $13 for adults, $8 for juniors (10-16), and children under 10 get in for free. As well, weekend passes are available for $20.

  1. Calgary to Edmonton to Vancouver to Quebec City to Moncton to Toronto to Montreal to Halifax – I’m not seeing a west to east trend here, wonder why ? It seems like a lot of needless travelling and gas wasted…?

    • The Halifax show is their own thing, done by Master Promotions, not MMIC — it’s actually run even closer to spring, before. As for the MMIC shows, well, you’d have to ask them … Im sure it has to do with things like arena and centre schedules.
