Last week, we told you Honda has introduced a new Grom to some markets, but we weren’t sure if it was coming to Canada. Now we know.
According to Kim Moore of Honda Canada, the updated Grom will not be here in 2016. She didn’t know if it would be coming here in the future, either, so if you’re thinking about buying a Grom, don’t hang on to your cash and hold out hopefully, unless you really, really like that new styling. There is no guarantee for 2017 or beyond, at least not yet.
50cc will also sell like crazy to every teenager with scooter permit

So no update, does that mean discount on the old models?
Make it look exactly the same with a 250cc motor & they’ll sell like crazy
Agree.
Everyone wishes for bigger engines and more power but complain when the bike is heavier and bigger to accommodate that power. There are plenty of big bikes here already to chose from. It’s nice to have a small and light one for goofing around on. It’s already a 125 in what should be a 50 cc bike.
Nope, 125cc is AOK. I like riding the wheels off mine, but 50cc would be way too pokey.
I agree that 125 cc is great for this bike. I was just suggesting that putting a 250 or bigger engine into a frame typically used by 50 cc bikes might be a bit much. I have owned a few 50 cc machines. They generally suck.
