Motorcycle transportation gone wild

So how do you transport your motorcycle if you don’t have a truck, a van, or a trailer?

Simple, one Calgary man thought Monday: He used his car. He put the front wheel in the trunk, left the tail end of the bike trailing behind, and went on his merry way.

Unfortunately, his plan went awry when other motorists on Saskatchewan’s Highway 1 called police about his unorthodox, and unsafe, transportation method. The boys in blue caught up to the high-risk hauler, and handed him a ticket, saying his transportation method was “definitely not a safe way to transport anything, let alone a motorcycle.”

  1. This must be an article lifted from the onion. Calgary is not in Saskatchewan unless the Liberals also are changing that. The photo does not appear to be related to this story if you look at the bike and the background carefully. Although I do like how the bike is fixed into the truck using a motorcycle chain.

  2. I’m trying to figure out what’s supporting the rear end of this motorcycle, because it doesn’t seem to have a rear wheel.
