Colin Edwards isn’t just an asphalt hero. He helped put together a team for the 2013 Baja 1000, resulting in this video here.
Now, it’s no second coming of Dust to Glory. But it’s a pretty good picture of what it takes to race at Baja, not just from the rider’s perspective, but also from the support crew perspective, coordinating everything from sleep breaks, fuel-ups and booby trap warnings.
There’s plenty of NSFW language, btw. And, judging by what we saw, don’t expect Edwards and friends to be signing up for the Dakar Rally next. He calls the Baja event the hardest thing he and his teammates have ever done on two wheels.
Not bad, but it ain’t no FAR!
