Ducati is bringing a new Monster to market.
The new-for-2016 Ducati Monster 1200 R will be the company’s most powerful naked bike they’ve ever made, their press release says. Aside from that, details are slim; the release promises “a more powerful engine, a sportier chassis and an advanced design,” but doesn’t give any details on exactly how those changes are made, although it seems likely it will get the same DVT motor that stars in the Multistrada. That is the Ducati way, after all, and that motor seems to have plenty of fans at the moment.
We do know the bike is set to appear at a motor show in Germany next week, so expect full details at that point. For now, we can only guess as to possible features.
