Help find hit and run SUV and stolen KTMs

British Columbia seems to be in the news today. According to a CBC report, a rider and his passenger were struck while riding in Vancouver in the early hours of last Wednesday morning, by a white SUV that failed to stop.

Const. Brian Montague said that they are looking for the Asian male who was driving a white Toyota SUV. Due to the collision, the SUV will have damage to the front passenger side. If you have any information please contact the Vancouver police.

Meanwhile in Kamloops, according to Infotel.ca, local KTM dealer RTR Performance, saw five of its KTM motorcycles stolen by a gang of thieves dressed as construction workers (apparently you can do anything when you put on a hi-viz jacket). The bikes and VINs are as follows:

– 2014 KTM 65 SX VBKMRA23XEM092169
– 2015 KTM 85 SX VBKMXC232FM000992
– 2014 KTM 150 SX VBKMXJ237EM101027
– 2015 KTM 350 EXC-F VBKEXK403FM239100
– 2015 KTM 500 EXC VBKEXP407FM498881

If you have any info on this, please contact RTR performance at 250-374-3141, Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. More pictures of the thieves are posted on the RTR Facebook page.
