Problem: On certain motorcycles, the rear master cylinder piston retraining ring may not have been fully seated into the machined groove of the master cylinder bore at time of manufacture. If the ring was not fully secured in the machined groove, it could result in a lack of brake fluid pressure to the rear caliper.
Correction: Dealers will inspect, and if necessary, replace the rear brake master cylinder.
