Last week, we showed you a video walking you around Portland’s The One show. Here’s a midwestern take on the same theme, Milwaukee’s Mama Tried show.
Naturally, given the location (close to Harley-Davidson HQ), the emphasis at this show seems to be choppers. But although they don’t appear to be cushy or comfortable or overly functional. they appear to be far, far removed from the billet barges once churned out on shows like American Chopper, so it’s not all bad.
Plus, there are still some vintage bikes and cafe racers and other fun stuff in there, so it looks like there was something for almost everyone at the show – except minibike racers. If you want minibike racing mixed in with your custom show, it seems you still have to make the trip to Portland.
