Photos purporting to be MV Agusta’s new World Superbike-conquering F4RC are floating around the Internet once more.
For months now, people have known MV Agusta is working on a new, high-spec version of the F4 superbike, ever since photos were leaked from a dealer meeting. The MVAgusta.net forum had some more photos out this week, with the forum members claiming they showed the new bike. One shot looked an awful lot like a snap or scan of a catalogue; if someone’s spoofing the motorcycling world, they’re going to quite a bit of effort to do so.
Some forum members said the other photos had to be digitally altered, as the bike pictured had passenger pegs – something no respecting Ricky Racer would ever have on a high-performance sport bike, surely! It’s worth noting, though, that the first apparent catalogue scan has spots on the frame to attach passenger pegs, so it’s not impossible to imagine the bike would come with them – although most users will likely ditch them fairly quickly.
