Yes, it’s motorcycle show season. This weekend, the circus visits Calgary’s BMO Centre.
Our vote for the top attraction at this weekend’s show? Why, that would have to be one Ed March, who’ll be at the show with girlfriend Rachel Lasham, who he’s traveling across Canada with via C90 (and sharing his adventures on CMG!). They’ll be in Booth E32; catch up on Ed’s previous adventures here and here.
Otherwise, the show offers the usual lineup: Most manufacturers will be present, showing new 2015 models. Valerie Thompson, world land speed record holder, will also be there. There’ll be a stunt show, and Team Empire members Ernie Vigil and Nick Brocha will be available to sign autographs, but it’s not clear if they are going to be performing as part of the show.
The doors open at noon Friday, staying open until 9 PM. The show runs 10 AM-8 PM Saturday and 10 AM – 5 PM Sunday. Admission is $15 for ages 15-65, $10 for ages 6-14 and 65+ and kids under 6 get in free with a paying adult. A family pass (two kids, two adults) is $38, and ladies get in for half price after 5 PM on Friday.
