Problem: On certain motorcycles, prolonged high-RPM operation could cause the air induction hose to melt, resulting in hot exhaust gases being directed at the fuel injection sub-wiring harness, which could melt the insulation and cause the wiring to short.
Correction: Dealers will replace the air induction hose, air induction pipe and air induction cut-off valve with ones that meet the new specifications.
