Jay Leno’s recently updated his YouTube channel with another episode of his gearhead show. Usually he focuses on cars, but he occasionally slips motorcycles in. In this case, it’s a 1925 Brough Superior SS that was raced at the Isle of Man.
You can watch Leno’s rundown on the machine (he knows quite a bit about the machine’s inner workings), and then take it out on the road. It’s a good thing the enviro-Nazis weren’t around during filming, as they likely wouldn’t be impressed by the total-loss lubrication system. Despite its antiquated oiling system, this is an impressive machine indeed, a bike that was competitive for decades after being built. It’s too bad you’ve got to have a Leno-sized pocketbook to afford one.
