The Canadian Superbike championship has released their full 2015 schedule.

The 2015 season is the longest in a few years. Things kick off on the June 12-14 weekend at Calabogie MotorSport Park, with a single race. St-Eustache is back on the calendar for 2015, as well as Shubenacadie and CanadianTire Motorsport Park (aka Mosport) in Bowmanville. Castrol Raceway is the series’ sole western date for a double-header in July.

The big news, of course, is that Shannonville isn’t on the 2015 schedule – it’s been the location for the opener for a while now.  There was no explanation from CSBK management for the change.

Other possible changes for 2015 include a potential update to the rulebook. While nothing is expected to change severely, there’s talk that peak horsepower limits might rise for superbikes.

The 2015 schedule is below.

2015 Mopar Canadian Superbike Championship

June 12-14 Round 1 Calabogie MotorSport Park Calabogie, Ont.

June 26-29 Round 2 Autodrome St-Eustache St-Eustache, Que.

July 10-12 Rounds 3/4 Castrol Raceway Edmonton, Alta.

August 1-2 Round 5 Atlantic Motorsport Park Shubenacadie, N.S.

August 14-16 Rounds 6/7 Canadian Tire Motorsport Park Bowmanville, Ont.

  1. Not having a Shannonville round is just wrong. The labour day weekend is a RACE round, make it a combined round with Nationals. Although I’m sure the track being for sale has something to do with it.
