Want to improve your off-road skills? Rally Connex is happy to help; they’ve rescheduled riding coach Chris Birch for 2015, with dates in September.

Birch is one of the world’s best off-roaders; he’s won the Roof of Africa three times, he won Red Bull Romaniacs in 2010 and finished the 2012 Dakar rally in 26th place (he was the second-place rookie, and it was his first-ever rally event). Suffice to say, he knows what he’s doing. He’s been training riders since 2005.

You can find more details about Birch on his website here.

Birch will appear at two locations for Rally Connex. There will be three classes for off-road skills and one for adventure riding skills in Tyrone, Ontario, just north of Bowmanville. There will also be four off-road classes in Georgetown, just north of Milton. The classes will last approximately six and a half hours, starting in the morning and running into the afternoon. Blue and green-plated bikes are welcome.

The off-road classes run September 2,3, 5, 6, 9,12, and 13. The adventure riding class runs Sept. 10. The adventure class is less aggressive, and is tailored towards larger machines. Cost to attend is $215 per class, and includes lunch and refreshments.

For more details, check out Rally Connex’s website here. Riders who sign up and pay (classes are limited to 12 students) will be contacted with location and times for classes after they pay.
