I’ll be the first to admit that I tend to roll my eyes at any high-priced, one-off, resurrected Marques, and the new Matchless X was no exception, but after getting to check it out up close and personal at the Milan EICMA show, the attention to detail and overall design package is something to behold.
Sure, it’s likely never make it to Canada, and even if it did it would be priced for collectors only, but here’s a collection of shots I took for your viewing pleasure.
[…] new bike will be called the Model X (here’s a look at it when it first appeared at EICMA in 2014). It will be powered by a 1900 cc […]
Hmhh, not often I find myself on this side of the fence when it comes to motorcycles like this, but honestly, the attention to detail and the avoidance of just using the same old crap really made this bike shine for me. I’ll see if I can get back in touch with my more curmudgeonly side … 🙂
Cold rain with intermittent snow and single digit temperatures aside….that thing would be ugly on the nicest day of the year. “same old” or different, crap is always trying too hard. (I’d add a smiley emoticon too but I can’t be bothered to figure out how)
TOO OVER THE TOP.
I have to agree with Joel, that is an ugly pile of crap.
Is that a chrome dingleberry/turd sticking out below the seat?
Good god that is one ugly and pointless pile of parts.
