Honda Crossrunner updated

Honda Crossrunner

Although we have yet to see the VFR800 powered Honda Crossrunner in the Great White North (it was released initially back in 2011 in Europe), we’re hoping that with a 2015 makeover, we might see it make it over here in the process.

Marketed as an adventure sports tourer, the V4-VTEC motor has been given more mid range torque with a dollop of top end power (105 hp), tweaked styling, longer travel suspension (+28 mm) and  new wheels (sadly still 17″ and cast thereby not really allowing for much dirt adventuring). The machine also comes with an adjustable seat (815 – 835 mm), ABS and two level traction control.

Although the Crossrunner falls into more of the sport tourer than adventure touring category, comfortable ergonomics, that lovely V4 motor and lots of suspension for Canada’s crappy roads could make it appealing here. We’ll see.

  1. Thanks for noticing this bike. I already gotten into a bit of a discussion with Motorocycle.com, Motorcycle-USA.com & Rider Magazine on the fact that they didn’t even think it was newsworthy because the bike isn’t currently sold in North America.
