The elimination round was rained out in Canadian Motorcycle Drag Racing Association action on the weekend.

According to CMDRA rules, there won’t be a replacement round – the season finale at Medicine Hat in three weeks will be the last chance for competitors to make gains on the lead. That’s going to make for some very tight action.

The BlackJacks Roadhouse Pro Mod division will be particularly close; Burke Foster of Fort St. John has been tearing this series up lately, but he only has a 27-point lead. Another interesting watch will be Pro Street, where Ethan Barkley needs to have a perfect weekend at the Alberta event if he wants to get his title back and take his 14th national championship.

One chase for first place is already over. Al Miles and the FFR Racing team took the Screamin’ Eagle Pro Dragster win – no other competitor can make up the points needed.
