Cleveland Cyclewerks has returned the performance head for their 250 cc big bore kit to their speed shop lineup.
The stock motor in CCW’s Ace, Misfit and Heist bikes is a 229 cc air-cooled single that bears a striking resemblance to the unit that powered old Honda CG125s. They offer a kit that bumps displacement to 250 cc – a minimal boost, but noticeable on a bike this small. This performance head is designed to work with that kit. CCW also recommends you install a jet kit in your carb, and upgrade your exhaust (and they sell all the parts to do so).
The performance head will set you back $350 US and CCW says it’s for track use only. Er, right. You can buy it here.
